It’s inevitable ... people die. We have family members who's body will function for years after their mind has ceased. What should we know about ourselves our loved ones, and how might we best prepare for the inevitable?
KJ is a member of the East Bay Conversation Project in Alameda and Contra Costa County. Its purpose is to promote community awareness about the value of advance care planning among individuals, family and caregivers. She is a Doctor of Naturopathy, BA English Literature, BSN Nursing, AND Nursing and is the Executive Director of Chaparral House a skilled not-for-profit elder care facility in Berkeley, has worked in eight convalescent hospitals, an active member of and past president of Castro Valley Rotary, former member Berkeley Rotary, and has served on too many nonprofit boards to list here.
